JBINZALA CUSTOM profiles and lUts

This page consists of all the gear and software I use for all of my videos and photos. I will be keeping this page is up to date as regularly as possible. Keep coming back regularly to see any updates to this setup.

For video footage, I shoot in S-Log-3 with S-Gamut3.Cine as my picture profile. I don’t make any changes to the picture profile besides using my own correction LUTs designed for the S-Log-3 footage for all my cameras. I also film in 10 bit 4:2:2 for my Primary Camera, and 8 bit for my secondary camera. I only shoot in Manual and in 24P frame rates. For my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 (The camera I use for unboxing over head shots) I film in 24P again. I use my own LUTS and PRESETS I have created myself in Dividci Resolve and Final Cut Pro.

1. AFTER LUT_01.jpg

I have a selection of four LUTS I created which I use for all my videos. It really depends on how I want to colour grade them. But these are used for my A Roll, B Roll and Overhead footage. You can purchase at my online store on this site. I would recommend the ULTIMATE BUNDLE if you want it all for Photo and Video.

2. AFTER PRESET_01 EXAMPLE 2.jpg

I have created three PRESETS I use mainly on my B Roll footage. These are normally to give a more saturated darker look as it progresses. You can purchase at my online store on this site. I would recommend the ULTIMATE BUNDLE if you want it all for Photo and Video.

A7R00374.JPG

I have created my own LUTS for my Photo Editing software. I use these as it's more of the colour profile I go for in my images. It's a one stop for all, as it works with Portrait and Candid photography. You can purchase at my online store on this site. I would recommend the ULTIMATE BUNDLE if you want it all for Photo and Video.

VIDEO SHOOT.jpg

I have created a checklist that I use for myself so I do not forget things when I film. This checklist I created is specific to me but can be edited for each individual use case. This really saves time trying to remember things and helps with keeping content consistent in quality.

EDITING.jpg

I have created a checklist that I use for myself so I do not forget things when I video edit as well! This checklist I created is specific to me but can be edited for each individual use case. It's mainly for Final Cut Pro, but it is pretty much across the board for anyone. This really saves time trying to remember things and helps with keeping content consistent in quality.

CAMERAS

I use this as my primary camera. It is used for all my A-Roll footage. One of the best cameras I've used. Due to the internal cooling system, it can film for extended periods of time so is also great for Podcasts.

A7R4

I use this as my secondary camera. It is used for all my A-Roll footage to compliment my FX3 for a second angle. I also use this for my Photography as it is a 61 Mega Pixel camera and part of the Resolution Series. Excellent camera for Video and Photo. This camera came out in 2019 and they don't have this online anymore unless you buy used. My link is for A7R V which is the latest camera.

AX33_edited.png

I use this as my short clips camera. It is used for all my B-Roll footage to film products or anything on my desk when needed to show another angle for the viewers. An old but Gold camera. The link is to the AX43 which is the latest one out.

OSMO P3_edited.png

I use this as my overhead camera. It is used for all my unboxing videos as it is very light and easy to use. This camera is also great for vlogging and films in S-Log-3. Just an absolute beauty.

LENSES

24mm

This is my main FX3 Lens for my a-roll footage. The quality is AMAZING. Love it, super sharp and unbelievable depth of field. I prefer it over the Sigma.

85mm

This is my main lens for the A7R IV for my a-roll footage and a close up shot. It is a excellent lens and shows much detail especially on the A7R IV.

AUDIO EQUPMENT

blue sona
410_edited.png

My main go to Mic. A competitor to the Legendary Shure SM7B. This Mic just sounds so appealing in my ears. Raw, Bass levels just right. It's the best MIC I've owned and I don't think you'd need a better MIC once getting this. The aesthetics of it look amazing as well.

This Mic is an overhead Mic I use when I want to film where there is no audio recording device showing. Especially on Unboxing Videos. Excellent quality even with it's budget price tag.

xor handle_edited.png

This is a XLR handle for the FX3. I use this with both input sections with the Blue Sona and the 410 to have dual audio dependant on the video i'm filming. It directly syncs my audio and saves on editing time.

dii mic 2_edited.png

Wireless Mic for the DJI Osmo Pocket 3. It was part of the Creator Combo Bundle, and it's a great Mic for when I just want it tagged on my clothes.

v4_edited.png

This goes on top of my A7R IV or my AX33 for whenever I try go for a vlogging style video. It helps to have a back up sound recorded.

elgato_edited.png

The best low profile arm I've tried. I use this with the Blue Sona as it's not distracting and is quite mobile which helps it to be hidden to a certain extent in my videos. Clean. Love it.

51MxMln3T2L_edited.png

This is an industry known audio interface for podcasting and streaming. Very high quality, and allows it to be integrate to software. I use this with ECAMM when streaming. Great product, shows the EQ when talking so I know theres sound being pushed out! It also has 48v for Mics that need it!

Lighting

fs150_edited.png

My main key light to light up my face. A great powerful light. Bit overkill for my studio as I do close ups. In addition it doesn't allow the white balance to change, but I like using this 5600K and then filming with 4300K white balance.

honey_edited.png

A soft box I use for my key light. This is to make sure the light is not too harsh on my face and body. It's a bit of a portrait box but it does the job for me.

white govee_edited.png

The BEST light that I had to have two. I use this light to light the side near the fireplace. I keep this ones colour warm in all videos. I control these with my Alexa.

black govee_edited.png

As mentioned I have two, this black floor lamp stays behind my chair near the wall and if you notice, each video has a different theme dependant on the subject discussed. For example, Crypto topics have an orange background and Information Security have a red background.

light bar_edited.png

Use this behind my Katana for some ambience. I keep it as a warm colour as I think it best suits the look I'm trying to go for. This is re-chargeable. Id recommend getting one where you can use it with the MAINS so you don't fear will the battery die on you.

chargeer led_edited.png

I use this ring light for Unboxing videos to light up the subject. It's very powerful even though it is USB operated.

Another light used for me creating the ambience I'm looking for. This lights up a few books behind me, and under the Katana where my book shelf is.

This is used to charge my AirPods and Phone, however, the LED light is also used once again for the ambience and vibe I like to display in my videos.

fotobetter

This is an incognito light, something behind my chair to give an effect where the back of me is lit up. One of the best portable lights I have. It can also be used as a power bank and the battery lasts ages. I can even use it with it plugged into the mains which is very important to me.

STREAM DECK XL_edited.png
71YAZb1WDJL_edited.png

This Prompter is used to help assist me connect more with my viewers. As I've always mentioned, my videos are never scripted. I only keep my notes and bullet points of what I want to cover in a video on my prompter so I don't need to keep cutting scenes in my videos to make editing and the process smoother.

A item to help save time. Time is so scarce and I need to save time. So I have many shortcuts on this for editing on Final Cut Pro and other information just displayed to save time clicking to getting that information. I have set many API's to withdraw this information for me.

The MK. 2 was so good I had to get the XL as well. I would recommend getting the XL if you wanted one for EVERYTHING. Best tool I've seen in a while. Only get the MK.2 if you're short of space on your desk. This Stream Deck comes with a Braided Wire compared to the MK.2

This is so I can use it with the Prompter. It helps me scroll down on my notes whilst not having to click my Stream Deck to scroll. Just something to help again with connecting with my viewers and making the whole work flow smoother.

Tripods and rigging gear

This tripod is used for my unboxing videos. It has a 90 degree angle where I am able to mount my DJI Osmo Pocket 3 for those over head shots. Very sturdy, overkill for the Osmo but it does the job.

I have multiple of these. I use two right now, but have many unbranded tripods and just stands which were for lights. In total I have five stands for accessories including my Main Cameras and iPads to watch me film live.

This is used to protect my FX3 from any fall damage and to allow me to use the extra sockets to mount more accessories if I ever needed to.

This is used to protect my FX3 XLR Handle from any fall damage and to allow me to use the extra sockets to mount more accessories if I ever needed to. I currently use a leveller tool so I know if my camera is bent or not.

This is used to protect my A7R IV from any fall damage and to allow me to use the extra sockets to mount more accessories if I ever needed to. I use the DEITY V4 on this and the top handle allows me to get a strong hold.

The Power Horse. This is a powerful MacBook Pro. I decided to get the 16 inch as I have a problem with an internal mental battle of having to get the best. So I go all out and get the top spec which is definitely overkill. However, it is something I use daily. Best purchase I've made, besides the FX3.

A 20 in 1 DOCK. The best dock. I've used MANY docks, and nothing compares. This dock has been made for the MacBook Pro Silicon series. Great product, can't recommend it enough. It's got all the ports you'll ever need up to 6k and multiple monitors.

My main iPad used for checking videos after editing and also when filming, having the camera connected to this through he Monitor+ Application or the DJI MIMO application as required. One of my great purchases. Use it all the time.

Another screen essential when filming to make sure the framing and lighting is correct. I film with minimum two cameras at once, so I need two monitors to view what I am filming. Pretty basic iPad other than that.

I have two 2TB T7 SSDs This is where I store my temporary files where I can travel, and be editing on the go if I am not using my NAS. I also use this to transfer data quickly to other devices when required.

I have a 2TB SSD and I use this SSD for Time Machine and backing up my MacBook OS and toolings.

Only a 256GB SSD, for certain softwares I need that I do not want to install on my MacBook directly, and things I can take around if required.

Camera Docking Link for My FX3 to use when streaming. This is the easiest plug and play camera link. It is 4k capable and has been reliable since purchase. All my streams are done in 4k because of this and the ECAMM software!

> WATCH MY UNBOXING <

This is a Desktop NAS with specs, Intel i5 1235u 10-Core CPU, 8GB DDR5 RAM, 128G SSD, 2 * 10GbE, 2 * M.2 NVMe Slots, 8K HDMI, 2 * TBT4, Network Attached Storage (Diskless). I use this for full data backup with a RAID 10 set up, and storage to edit from directly with my softwares.

> WATCH MY UNBOXING <

I have 6 of these 20TB high performance Hard drives. They're super expensive and are expensive due to their reliability something that is important to me. I use this in a RAID 10 format, so even though it's 120TB in total, it goes down to 60TB of storage space I have that I can use. Should last a good few years

> WATCH MY UNBOXING <

I have two 32gb sticks for the UGREEN NAS to help with the processing. The UGREEN came with 8GB, and can take a maximum of 64GB. It may be overkill, but I do not want any lag when using the NAS at the same time for editing or accessing data from multiple devices. I got the 5600 MHz rather than the 4800 MHz only as it was cheaper. UGREEN maximum is 4800 MHz, but adjusts if above.

> WATCH MY UNBOXING <

I got two 4TB SN850X for the UGREEN as I can edit real time from the NAS connected to the MacBook. Additionally, I don't want to damage the internal MacBook Pro hard drive as if that dies, I will become a Brokie.

> WATCH MY UNBOXING <

This is a 8 port Managed Switch where I can use LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol) to link both 10GB ports of the UGREEN to the iVanky so there is a 20GB transfer rate connection between my MacBook and NAS. I had to get this switch as 4 10GB ports are required as minimum.

> WATCH MY UNBOXING <

I had to get two of these Sonnet Solo10G Thunderbolt 3/4 Ethernet Adapter with 10G Transceiver because it is required to use the LACP (Link Aggregation Control Protocol) to link these to utilize the 20GB transfer speeds from the NAS to MacBook and vice versa. This is connected to my Thunderbolt slots on my iVanky and then into my Managed Switch.

> WATCH MY UNBOXING <

This is a UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) which is essential for my set up. Even though I live in the UK, funnily enough, there has been random power cuts. This is to make sure my NAS does not damage and the data does not get corrupted especially if rebuilding a drive. I have set the NAS to auto shutdown after 5 mins of being on the UPS system. The UPS should give me 12-45 minutes of Power, this is the 960W version. Realistically, I don't need anything else on this UPS as everything else has a battery. If external Monitors go, I don't have an issue with that as long as my NAS does not die. Just to paint a picture, each one of the Seagate IronWolf Pro's costs around ~£500. Imagine they die because of a silly power cut! Forget that, imagine I lose my precious data!!!!! Game Over. Backups are super important!

I decided to use Final Cut Pro as I purchased it with a Bundle. I am used to it now and enjoy using it. This is the software I use to edit all my videos.

PIXELMATOR PRO

This is an Adobe Photoshop alternative, It's now my go to to edit and create Thumbnails. I love it, prefer it over Adobe Photoshop. It's simple, and feel it works better with my MacBook Pro.

PHOTOMATOR PRO

The alternative to Adobe Lightroom, again, I've created my own LUTs and I find it easy to use and smooth. I enjoy the interface and I'm just so used to it now.

OFFSHOOT

Excellent way to offload data from my CF Express, SDHC, Micro SD cards in one go. This is the tool I use to replicate and offload all my data in one go to all my SSDs. It also verifies through hash to see if it is completed. It is slightly slower than dragging and dropping myself, however, I use it when I just want to drop files and then leave the room and go do something else.

MONITOR+ PRO

One of the best apps, if not THE BEST for SONY Cameras. I've purchased the PRO version so I can remotely control my camera when I'm about to film. I film everything in Manual Settings so It allows me to have full control directly from my seat. Helps me save myself from loosing too many calories. LOL.....

DJI's app to control the OSMO Pocket 3 which I use to frame the Unboxing videos and keep an eye on where my hand placements are when doing these type of videos to perfect the art of delivery. Links are to Mavic & Ronin.

The Best AI tool I've found for creating my Shorts for all my Social Media Platforms. Lets me edit in house to how I want it. I've become a tester for them as this app saves me SO MUCH time to the extent I don't think I would be able to output Shorts if this was not available!!

STREAM DECK

Stream Deck is used for my Stream Decks. I use this to help Manage my shortcuts for workflow purposes with my editing in Final Cut Pro and have some hotkeys to make life easier on things I use all the time. Basically an easy short cut by using one click saving time clicking ten things to get to the same result. I also have API's with information just displayed for me.

ECAMM

ECAMM is used for my streaming on all social media platforms. I use this to help with transitions, and making the flow of streams smooth and to my branding quality. It's a MacOS only application, so sadly windows/linux won't be able to benefit. Also it's a paid software, but its got what I require to make my streams to my quality including Comment Sharing on screen at the click of a button!

Music

Quran and Prayer Beads

None.

I don't use music in any of my videos, as you all well know, I am a Muslim. Music is Haram (Prohibited) in Islam.

ومن الناس من يشتري لهو الحديث ليضل عن سبيل الله بغير علم ويتخذها هزوا ۚ أولئك لهم عذاب مهين

"And of the people is he who buys the amusement of speech to mislead [others] from the way of Allah without knowledge and who takes it in ridicule. Those will have a humiliating punishment."

Reference: The Holy Quran - Chapter 31, Verse 6 - Surah Luqman, Ayah 6.

This verse refers to music and singing. You can find this from evidence in Tafsir Ibn Kathir narrated by Al-Hasan al-Basri (May Allah have mercy on him).
